With an August 9 announcement planned, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is already being launched much earlier in the month than the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, but while we’d expected to have to wait at least a couple of weeks after that to be able to buy it, it looks like that might not be the case.

That’s according to sources in Taiwan’s handset supply chain, speaking to DigiTimes. Specifically, they said that the Galaxy Note 9 might go on sale in early August.
