LG’s smartphone division hasn’t been doing too well of late. It’s been operating at a loss, and their latest flagship offering does little to remedy that. The LG G7 ThinQ doesn’t offer anything unique and is merely another notched abomination running a Snapdragon 845. At least, the company has shifted focus on updating their older devices including the V20. It’s a step in the right direction, but LG has a long way to go before they can compete against the likes of Samsung and Apple. Today, LG rolled out some new features to the ThinQ that include Pixel-esque AR Stickers, as it was teased some time earlier.

Unfortunately, the update is for Verizon devices only. The AR Stickers are accessible via the camera app through a dedicated button. The weather and calendar app get a few minor QoL updates as well. For example, if the 24-hour format is turned off, time will be displayed as 12 PM, 3 PM, etc. Additionally, you can now even sync a new event by tapping the image button to add a photo, file, or task to a new event and select a photo from Gallery, a file from Downloads, or a task from Calendar.
