AMD Board Partners Introduce Budget-Friendly B450 Motherboards – Full Lineup From ASUS, ASRock, MSI, Gigabyte Round Up

AMD partners are officially introducing their latest B450 chipset based motherboards. The new motherboards target the budget-friendly market, with products under the $200 US price tag. In terms of features, we can expect full support for the Ryzen 2000 series processors and a similar feature-set as the high-end X470 products.

The new motherboards based on the B450 chipset have a lot in common with the X470 boards and still come at a cheaper price. There are a few differences which may not be as significant for users in this market segment. These include fewer PCIe 2.0 lanes, less USB 3.1 ports and no support for SLI (depends on the manufacturer to add multi-GPU support for the specific vendor).
