For those of you don’t know (myself included until about ten minutes ago), Google Express is the company’s grocery shopping solution. The service was launched on a trial basis in a few cities a few years ago. The number of locations has since expanded, and so has the number of retailers that support it. The idea of a subscription-based groceries delivery service seems a bit ludicrous, which is why there’s an option to pay on a per delivery basis as well.
On paper, it seemed like Google Express would be a roaring success, except, it was everything but one. The absence of big-name retail chains such as Target could be a contributing factor. Plus, there’s a lot of confusion about which stores you can order from, as it includes regional and nationwide businesses. However, Google has been on working on getting more retailers onboard. Today, thirty new businesses joined the list. Here they are:
