Microsoft has urged the US government to regulate the use of facial recognition – just weeks after the Windows giant came under-fire for seemingly offering that same technology to Uncle Sam's controversial Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.
Following reports of children being separated from their parents by ICE agents at America's borders, under President Donald Trump’s “zero tolerance" immigration policy, several companies including Microsoft, Thomson Reuters, and Amazon were criticized for working with the agency.
