One of the best things about working at a tech company is the emphasis on being comfortable. Most tech companies don’t require you to wear dresses and suits and are more than okay with jeans and tees.

When I was applying for full-time tech jobs, this was something that I was looking forward to. As someone who doesn’t like to dress up all the time, working at a company that allowed me to be comfortable was important to me. After gathering a few company t-shirts within the first few weeks of working, I began embracing the tech casual lifestyle. It didn’t take me long to realize that I was one of the few women on my floor dressing this way.
