Oracle tells court: Boss man Mark Hurd didn't have docs relevant to HPE spat over Solaris

HPE's assertions that Oracle boss Mark Hurd intentionally deleted emails related to the pair's software IP spat are "mere speculation", the database giant has told a district court in northern California.
The firms have been embroiled in the Oracle v HPE copyright dispute since 2016, when Oracle accused HPE of improperly partnering with maintenance biz Terix Computer to sell third-party support for the Solaris operating system. Oracle argued only authorised partners could support the OS.
