Apple Music still trails Spotify in total users, but it may have just eclipsed the bigger rival in one all-important market: the US. 

Apple Music and Spotify each have more than 20 million paying subscribers in the US, but Apple is "now a hair ahead," Digital Music News reported Thursday, citing an unnamed music distributor.
