The Bank of England has joined forces with the FCA and the PRA to investigate how financial organisations across the UK are preparing their systems for cyber attacks and IT outages.

In a new discussion paper published on Thursday, the regulators call on banks, building societies, credit unions and insurers to disclose details of their ability to respond to incidents by 5 October.
