It wasn’t so long ago that OnePlus was a small startup with an uncertain future.

In 2014, a $300 device with specs like the OnePlus One was unheard of. Limited manufacturing capability meant you had to wait ages to catch one of the company’s flash sales. At the time, I couldn’t help but wonder whether the company’s motto, “Never Settle,” would be its undoing.
