The dust has barely settled on the just-released Huawei P30 and P30 Pro and a company official has already started talking about the Mate 30 series. While it’s no secret that the company launches two flagship series in a year, it is surprising to see the company acknowledge the presence of its next flagship lineup and reveal when it could potentially launch.
According to the Chinese company’s Product Manager Bruce Lee, the Mate 30 range will be launched in September or October. This information was revealed at a Huawei P30 event in Malaysia. Lee further revealed that the Mate 30 phones are being tested right now. Huawei usually packs in its new silicon inside its Mate series phones first and if rumors are to go by, the Mate 30 range would be the first to be underpinned by HiSilicon’s upcoming chip, the Kirin 985.
