NVIDIA Reportedly Preparing 3 GB Models of Their Upcoming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Graphics Card – First Turing TU116 Die Shot Leaks Out

NVIDIA seems to be preparing more models than expected for the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card. The graphics card which is expected to release next week would be aiming a price point of around $279 US but if this rumor is true, then we can expect an even cheaper variant but not with a few sacrifices.

So we have two interesting things to cover in this story, first, of course, the 3 GB models. It looks like NVIDIA or at least their AIBs will be offering the upcoming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card with 3 GB of VRAM. The reference model which we know of right now features 6 GB GDDR6 VRAM but there might also be a 3 GB GDDR6 VRAM variant as listed on the EEC website.
