With Samsung’s global smartphone market share at 19 percent for the Q3 2018 period according to Counterpoint Research, the Korean behemoth will not want to waste precious time in getting its Galaxy S10 lineup to market shelves as soon as possible to increase those shipment numbers. We’ve known for a little while that Samsung will unveil its Galaxy S10 series on February 20, with a total of three variants getting unveiled during the announcement. Now, according to the latest info, the new series will arrive at the market as early as the following month after the announcement.
According to an anonymous tipster who received the information from a Samsung representative who has had a hand in working with Galaxy S10 prototypes, the launch date of the flagship lineup is March 8. The supposed launch date is just a month after the handsets will officially be unveiled. The leaked information also states that the cheapest Galaxy S10 variant will not have ‘Lite’ in its name. Instead, it might be called the Galaxy S10E, according to the model names leaked earlier, alongside the press images.
