Skydance Interactive has found real-world success in virtual reality. The company announced that “The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners” game has made $29 million on all platforms since its launch a year ago.
I previewed the VR experience and came away impressed at how it brought players into the zombie world and had a riveting story that takes place in New Orleans. The 15-plus-hour experience garnered praise from critics and was nominated for “Best VR/AR Game” at The Game Awards 2020. It ultimately lost to “Half-Life: Alyx.”
