In an interview published by the Kyoto Shimbun daily newspaper, Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima expressed the company’s desire to try and sell over 20 million units of the Switch console in the fiscal year 2018.

While the official forecast for this fiscal year is still targeting 14 million units (though Nintendo will probably exceed it, considering that they have already sold 10 million Switch units), the company is more bullish for next year.
