SAN FRANCISCO — A lottery ticket purchased at a Lower Nob Hill convenience store is now worth $1.3 million, after one lucky winner matched all five numbers drawn Saturday night — only one Powerball shy of the whopping $1.4 billion jackpot.
The odds of pulling that “5/5” ticket were roughly 1 in 11.6 million, according to California lottery officials.
