SAN JOSE — A prominent apartment complex in downtown San Jose near the footprint of Google’s proposed transit village has landed a big-time buyer in a deal that points to some weakness in the residential market.
Diridon West, a 249-unit apartment building at the corner of Stockton Avenue and West Julian Street in San Jose, has been bought for $117.5 million, according to documents filed on Jan. 19 with the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office.
