The Bay Area’s fried-chicken scene continues to get hotter – quite literally – with the arrival of Dave’s Hot Chicken in Sunnyvale on Aug. 26.

The L.A.-originated chain opened its newest location on Friday at 118 El Camino Real, in a fertile chicken crescent with a Popeyes to the west and a Bonchon to the east. It features plenty of indoor seating, graffiti-style artwork on the walls and, of course, fried chicken, prepared in the faddish style of Nashville hot.
