Later this month, the Giants will honor for the first time one of the teams that delivered San Francisco three World Series trophies in a span of five seasons. But four of the most important and beloved members of those teams won’t be in attendance.

Twenty four players and coaches from the 2012 World Series team are scheduled to be at Oracle Park on Saturday to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the championship, but Buster Posey, Tim Lincecum, Pablo Sandoval and Brian Wilson won’t be joining the festivities.
