The faded blue paint on the awning of this downtown San Jose storefront announces a Vietnamese bakery. But if you peek through the dark metal bars on the South Second Street window, what you see are racks of assorted clothing, walls adorned with jewelry and mirrors, and shelves piled high with lace, linen and boxes of fabric scraps.
