SAN JOSE — A woman was fatally stabbed Tuesday night near Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park, according to San Jose police.

No one has been arrested in connection with the deadly downtown assault reported at 9:34 p.m. in the 100 block of South Market Street, police said. Officers called to the location found a woman suffering from at least one stab wound, and she died at the scene.
