SAN JOSE — Authorities have identified the motorcyclist killed in a traffic collision Sunday afternoon after hitting a truck and a guardrail on Interstate 880, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at about 11:57 a.m. in the area of southbound I-880, just north of the East Brokaw Road on-ramp, said CHP Officer Ross Lee. Officers arrived on scene at about 12:03 p.m.
