SAN JOSE — An old research and office site in north San Jose could be transformed into a modern industrial center for advanced manufacturing or tech-oriented logistics under a plan being floated at City Hall.

A development group intends to bulldoze an existing four-decade-old structure at the corner of Lundy Avenue and Concourse Drive in San Jose and replace the property with a brand-new industrial building, plans on file with city officials show.
