SAN JOSE – A person was killed in a stabbing Tuesday afternoon in East San Jose, marking the city’s first homicide of the year police said.

The stabbing was reported at 3:17 p.m. on the 1600 block of Tully Road, between Highway 101 and King Road, according to the San Jose Police Department.
