SAN JOSE — Sprouts Farmers Market and Burlington are eyeing new stores at a San Jose retail center, part of what appears to be an expansion in the Bay Area by the two merchants.

Burlington and Sprouts have agreed to lease space in Capitol Square, a retail complex in San Jose, according to public records and a marketing brochure being circulated by commercial real estate brokers.
