Three people died and a fourth was hospitalized Monday afternoon in what authorities said was a suspected fentanyl overdose at a home in unincorporated Gilroy.

Deputies were dispatched around 3:05 p.m. Monday to a home on the 10000 block of Garcia Lane, where four unresponsive adults were located, according to a news release sent by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
