MILPITAS — Cisco Systems has sketched out plans to slash well over 100 jobs in the Bay Area, according to an official filing that the legendary tech titan provided to state labor officials.

The company’s job cuts are slated to occur over the next few weeks or months, Cisco stated in a WARN notice filed with the state’s Employment Development Department.
