MILPITAS — Carl Guardino, a difference maker while at the helm of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, has landed a key executive post with a South Bay company trying to help bridge the “digital divide.”

Milpitas-based Tarana has named Guardino as vice president of governmental affairs of the telecommunications tech company.
