SAN JOSE — Construction crews began to heft into place Monday a bridge that will span a downtown San Jose street and link Adobe’s newest tower and original campus, a fresh sign of the tech titan’s Bay Area expansion.

The bridge will cross over West San Fernando Street and connect the Adobe North Tower with the cloud services company’s original three-building headquarters campus in downtown San Jose.
