SAN JOSE — A woman was killed and a man was injured in a shooting Thursday night, according to San Jose police.

The gunfire was reported at 10:31 p.m. in the 1100 block of East William Street, which is between South 22nd Street and McLaughlin Avenue. Responding officers found the two victims; the woman died at the scene, and the man is expected to survive.
