SAN JOSE – An investigation is underway into San Jose’s 10th homicide of the year, police said Tuesday.

Officers were called to the 1600 block of Inverness Circle at 1:14 p.m. Saturday for a welfare check. They arrived to find a man with “obvious signs of trauma” who was unconscious and not breathing, the San Jose Police Department said in a statement.
