SAN JOSE — A veteran real estate firm is planning a mixed-use office and retail center at a key downtown San Jose corner and aims to blend decades-old building facades with a modern project, city documents show.

Suzaco, a project proposed by Bayview Development Group, would sprout at the corner of South Fourth Street and East Santa Clara Street in downtown San Jose, the developer said.
