SAN JOSE — Two Bay Area hotels, one in San Jose and one in San Mateo, that have been mired in bankruptcy have landed buyers in deals that could put them back on solid financial footing as coronavirus-linked economic woes ebb.

The hotels are among 18 hotels in the United States — including the world-famous Queen Mary Hotel moored in the Long Beach harbor — that Singapore-based Eagle Hospitality Trust has been attempting to sell in an effort to raise cash as part of the real estate firm’s Chap. 11 bankruptcy case.
