SAN JOSE — Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in an East San Jose home Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

San Jose police officers were called at about 5:20 p.m. to perform a welfare check at a home in the 2400 block of Dumont Circle, off Story Road west of Capitol Expressway. They arrived and soon found a deceased man.
