SAN JOSE — A bicyclist was struck by a car and killed here Monday afternoon, in the city’s 11th fatal crash of the year, police said.

The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the Brokaw Road underpass of Interstate 880. Police said in a news release the bicyclist was riding across the street, “outside of a marked crosswalk” when a westbound pickup truck collided with the bicycle.
