SAN JOSE – A shooting in San Jose late Monday left one man wounded, authorities said.

Officers were called at 9:45 p.m. for a report of a shooting at West San Carlos Street and Mayellen Avenue, the San Jose Police Department said in a social media post. The intersection is four blocks west of Meridian Avenue.
