A San Jose man was killed Saturday night in a wrong-way crash on Highway 101 in Nipomo, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash was reported around 11:10 p.m. A 24-year-old Santa Maria man was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe south in the northbound lanes, having entered the freeway from the Tefft Street off-ramp. The Tahoe ran head-on into a Honda CR-V driven by a 44-year-old San Jose man.
