SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge sentenced two Miami residents two six months of home detention for taking over user accounts of the investing app Robinhood, a scheme that cost the company around $193,000.
Matthew Everett and Antawn Williams, both of Miami, Florida, were also ordered to pay restitution and a $10,000 fine at a Wednesday morning court hearing before U.S. District Judge James Donato.
