SAN JOSE — A development alliance is planning a downtown San Jose tower that would replace the drudgery of working in an office with a cutting-edge new concept: working in a park.

Park Habitat, a new downtown San Jose highrise, is slated to sprout next to The Tech Interactive and would create a park within the proposed tower. Some preliminary construction work is underway on the office and retail tower.
