BURLINGAME — A big office and retail complex is slated to sprout next to a shuttered post office in downtown Burlingame, a project that could refresh the Peninsula city’s central business district.

The project would total 185,000 square feet and be built next to the former U.S. Postal Service office at 220 Park Road in downtown Burlingame.
