SAN MATEO COUNTY – After a nine-year investigation, authorities on Thursday arrested a 30-year-old San Mateo County man on suspicion of sexually assaulting multiple underage girls.

A break in the case came this month when a witness identified the suspect, said Sgt. Joe Cang of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office in a news release.
