SAN JOSE — An affordable housing project in San Jose has moved closer to reality following a new Google loan for the complex and the developer’s purchase of the properties where the homes will be built.

Kelsey Ayer Station has landed more financing from Google and the project’s developer has just completed a purchase of the properties needed for the 115-unit development, according to public documents filed in Santa Clara County on Jan. 15.
