Bay Area chicken connossieurs can finally put Raising Cane’s to the test without going on a wild SoCal goose chase. Northern California is getting its first outpost of the popular chicken shack, which has more than 530 locations worldwide.

According to a spokesperson for the Louisiana-based company, Raising Cane’s is slated to open in the first half of 2022. The restaurant will be located at a new student housing and retail development at 2580 Bancroft Way in Berkeley, across from the UC Berkeley campus.
