The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch for parts of the Bay Area starting Sunday as high winds and low humidity loom.
Stretching from north of Santa Rosa down to Gilroy, the weather service expects wind gusts up to 30-40 mph to wash over the region from Sunday through Tuesday evening — increasing the chance that sparks could rapidly grow into dangerous wildfires.
