MONTEREY — Citing the need to protect children who cannot yet be vaccinated, the Monterey Bay Aquarium will require all visitors 12 and older to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test that was conducted within 72 hours of a scheduled visit starting Nov. 1.
“We’re especially committed to protecting the health of children under the age of 12, who make up a significant portion of our attendance and are not yet eligible to be vaccinated,” the aquarium stated in a Thursday news release.
