One of the first Craftsman homes built in the Crocker Highlands neighborhood in Oakland has sold for $3.1 million — $1.15 million over its original asking price. The price represents a record sale in the subdistrict.
The 2,950-square-foot four-bedroom, four-bathroom home was built in 1912 and considered a premier home at the time in the area. It has undergone a meticulous restoration and renovation, which includes many modern amenities. The home touts an updated kitchen, new baths, and radiant-heat flooring, among other features. Also, it boasts a lush patio with a koi pond and a spacious pergola.
