OAKLAND — Twitter has signed a lease to occupy a big chunk of space in downtown Oakland that will enable the social media giant to operate with a hybrid office model crafted for the COVID era.

The tech company has leased 66,000 square feet in an office tower at 1330 Broadway in Oakland, Twitter and the owners of the highrise said Friday.
