SAN JOSE — One person was arrested, and more than 200 citations were issued after police quickly shut down an illegal sideshow taking place in downtown early Saturday.
San Jose police responded to a report that more than 100 vehicles had gathered in the area of Park Avenue and Woz Way, near John P. McEnery Park, at around 12:30 a.m., a social media post said. A coordinated response by officers ended the sideshow, which police said is a “dangerous” event that “is not welcome in San Jose.”
