SAN JOSE — A busy local development firm has bought multiple parcels in downtown San Jose that it needs to build a new housing tower on the site of an Asian grocery store.

Urban Community, a San Jose-based development company headed by real estate executives Gary Dillabough and Jeff Arrillaga, has bought parcels in downtown San Jose, according to documents filed on July 16 with the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office.
