SAN JOSE — A complex of new gleaming housing towers in downtown San Jose is getting a big-name retailer as its first commercial tenant at the same time the project’s developer begins to scout for apartment residents.
Starbucks has signed a lease for a large space on the ground floor of Miro, a mixed-use housing, restaurant, retail, and commercial complex in downtown San Jose, according to Ted McMahon, chief investment officer with Bayview Development Group, developer of the brand-new project.
